So you havent seen any of the other DC animated movies. Moment like that ( 2:10 ) with Batmans powerful will, is why he is the greatest out of all superheroes.
When people says cartoon are childish I"ll show them this movie, I love DC dark movies. I enjoyed it. I"m a retired, combat veteran. I saw comments on the DC board "is this OK for my 6-year old? NO! IT IS NOT! This is a grown-up movie. Frankly, I am tired of grown-up comic book movies. Why do they have blood and gore and cussing? That isn"t fun. They need to start making comic book movies for kids again. Having said that, this is a well-done, great plot and well directed story. It is hard for me to see my heroes suffer like in DAYS OF FUTURE PAST or in FLASHPOINT. But this was a great piece of work and worth the view.

I really liked evil Batman doing his best Darth Vader impression. Would have been great to see evil Batman out of the chair more. Are we gonna ignore the fact that Martian Manhunter gets burnt in every movie he"s in. If you think Thanos was cruel and madness... compare to Darkseid, Thanos is cute ????.
Gah damn they turned Batgirl into a lunchable! ??????. DC should hire the animation department for the live action. MAJOR ENDGAME VIBES. A tremendously entertaining (and kind of heart wrenching) movie, but I had my gripes. This is not your typical kiddies Justice League, which should be expected given Constantine is in it.
It is a reasonable addition to the series, and is better than the 2017 movie.
It also leaves room for a sequel. The combination of magic with the story was great, the script went very well. Trigon vs darkseid is the equivalent of when the two smartest students in class have different answers. I"m impressed by this movie. Justice league heroes and villains dying like insects in brutal manners. There was no fantasy or things magically happening. Just look at how pathetically Luthor died, even though he"s one of the most annoying Superman rivals he still died like an ant because in the end he was just a human. Things like that made this movie brutality realistic.
All the head snaps, and this version of sups who snapped zod neck, cant snap Darkseids... I just watched this today and I"m still amazed and in shock of what they just did to the league and the other heroes. Really hate seeing everyone die the way they did... I have a feeling Flash meant more than what he said, it seemed more than just a promise holding him back. I think he was tired, I think realizing that once again he"ll have to rewind the clock, to see it all again, to suffer all those mistakes, all the pain, to do it all again and still even possibly get a worse ending? Then he looks out and sees the others, he sees their pain, their defeat, and it emboldens him. He swallows back his hesitation, his fatigue, his very fear, and bearing it all he runs again despite the odds. He does it to give them a better future, not for his sake this time, but for everyone. One of the reasons Flash is the best. Darkseid: I am a new god, successor to the old. Trigon: That"s cute. I"m the one who killed all of the old gods. Darkseid. Uh oh.
I don"t often watch animated films these days but with this enforced social diatance I decided to view this anyway. The characters are very familiar to anyone that follows the DC universe.
This is maybe better than the recent film adaptation. The storyline is simple: the justice League plan to stop Dark Side. However, their best laid plan go astray. They lose and as punishment they are made to either work for the dark side, against their will, or sent back from whence they came enduring the consequences of this loss. Clarke Kent recruits the remaining members of the team to either save the Earth or die trying.
It is good in that DC were willing to kill off beloved characters in this battle for the survival of the earth. The ending is typical DC but hey it delivers on what it promises: an action packed storyline with a fitting ending.
Rob you missed all Damien Wayne"s backstory in the movies. He"s one of the most fleshed out characters in this universe. Watch Son of Batman (2014) Batman vs. Robin (2015) Batman: Bad Blood (2016) Justice vs. Teen Titans (2016) Teen Titans: The Judas Contract (2017) and Batman: Hush (2019. And just for posterity throw in Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay (2018) and Justice League Dark (2017) and Constantine: City of Demons (2018) he definitely wouldn"t bail.
Etrigan has an insanely high bar for opponents, doesn"t he ? Lady Shiva is one of the few people that could defeat Batman and he was still unimpressed. She actually knows more martial arts and mastered them to a degree perhaps only Batman or Deadshot could match. Or maybe she was off her game that day, that was an unusually bad fight for her.
Me before watching the movie : eh no matter what supes always win at the end DC. sure
